Sponge cake

You need

• 3 eggs
• 3 cups of sugar
• 3 1/2 cups of flour
• 2 teaspoons of baking powder
• 1 1/2 cups of milk
• 50 g of butter or margarine

Seasonings

• Cardamom
• Ground ginger
• Grated peel of grapefruit or other citrus fruits
• Sunflower seeds
• Fresh basil or lemon balm

Do this

1. Put the oven on 175°C.
2. Butter and cover a baking tin with bread crumbs, a baking tin about 2 litres or 24 cm in diameter (for 1 cake).
3. Beat egg and sugar until puffy. Mix flour, baking powder, the seasonings you want and fold into the egg mixture. Boil milk with butter and stir into the batter. Pour the batter into to the baking tin.
4. Bake the cake in the lower part of the oven for about 35-40 minuts.

The recipe could been better than what it is. In one step includes many steps. The steps about how to do the sponge cake could been more clear, by divided the steps in more and smaller steps. I understad the recipe but it´s very unclear about how to do the sponge cake. Because some steps includes many steps. For example could you write step 3 in four various steps.

One good thing with the recipe is you know how big the baking tin most be for the cake. In the first step it says you most put the oven on. In other recipe can it says you should start with the matter and put the oven on later. It´s also good that the ingredients are in order of when you use them.

Movie: Billy Elliot

The movie Billy Elliot  is a drama movie. Billy Elliot takes place in the north part of Great Britain, during the coal miners´ strike in 1984-1985. The movie is about a eleven years old boy becoming a professional dancer.

Billy lives with his father Jackie Elliot, big brother Tony and his grandmother. Billy and his family lives in a poor area. Billys mother Sarah have been dead about one year. Billys father Jackie and his big brother Tony are strikers for the miners in Great Britain. Thats because they are poor.

Father Jackie think that Billy will boxing. But Billy don´t want to boxing. Instead Billy will dancing ballet.

Billy takes ballet lessons secretly. He gets private lessons of a ballet teacher, Mrs. Wilkinson. The only support he gets from the family is from his grandmother.

Billy becomes a very good ballet dancer, so his ballet teacher think Billy should go on a audition.

Later his father accept that Billy dancing ballet. So Billy goes on the audition. Billy comes in to the ballet school. The movie end to the strike ends and Billy is a professional ballet dancer.

Description of Evelina

Evelina Kristina Olofsson is my absolutely best friend. She was born 7 september 2002. Evelina is 13 years old, like me. She is taller than me and her hair is very long and blonde. Her eyes are blue and her eyelashes are very, very long. Evelina are very smart, kind-hearted and beautiful. She live in Boden in Norra Svartbyn.

Me and Evelina have a few things commonly. One of them is we both have glasses. Sometimes she have contact lenses. We both have blonde hair and we have blue eyes. I and Evelina are relatives, our fathers are second cousin.

We met for the first time about eight years ago, in 2008. It was on a school called Gärdesskolan. After that we have been in the same class until seventh grade.

Evelina and I share some interests, we both like handball and popcorn. She don´t like cats. Once when Evelina took a walk it came a withe cat. The cat went to she´s leg and she think she will run away. But she dosen´t do that. That is what she told me.

Evelina´s favorite food is chicken. For example chicken-tacos, chicken with french fries or chicken nuggets. Some colors she like is purple, black and withe.
